Flow Wand — Flexible Boning Elements

Responsive, rhythmic sensation through motion

$75.00

The Flow Wand — Flexible Boning Elements is designed for tactile exploration through motion, rhythm, and responsive contact. Long, flexible flat spring elements are secured in a weighted handle, allowing sensation to shift fluidly based on how the wand is moved and guided.

When allowed to move freely, the flexible elements create flowing, rhythmic touch that can feel expansive and grounding. When guided with more intention, they offer firmer, more percussive feedback through the body. Subtle changes in angle, speed, and point of contact can dramatically alter the experience, making this style especially responsive to communication and curiosity.

Some people experience this wand as invigorating or awakening; others find it deeply regulating or centering. There is no single “right” way to use it — exploration is shaped by attention, choice, and mutual agreement.

Materials & Construction

  • Flexible flat spring boning elements

  • Steel roller ball opposite the boning for weight balance (and a satisfying fidget point)

  • Durable 3D-printed handle with removable end caps

  • Designed for easy disassembly and cleaning

The flexible elements are repurposed flat spring boning traditionally used in corsetry — a material with a long history of shaping sensation through structure and movement.

Handles and end caps are available in a variety of colors to suit your personal aesthetic. Each piece is carefully handmade in small batches, with attention to balance, durability, and tactile responsiveness.

Customization & Assembly

Handles can be embellished with 5 mm and 2.5 mm rhinestones, flat-back pearls, or other polished beads that suit your style.

You may choose:

  • a pre-assembled embellishment kit, includes all materials needed to assemble at your own pace
(typically 2–3 hours total — perfect for TV, podcasts, or chatting with friends)

  • Professional blinging service (+ $100) if you’d prefer it finished for you

  • or leave it as-is

Notes on Use

Flow Wands are designed for exploratory, consent-forward use. This style offers a wide range of sensations depending on technique and intention. We recommend starting slowly, checking in often, and exploring at a pace that feels right for everyone involved.

Looking for a gentler, more continuously flowing experience? Explore our Flow Wand — Cascading Chains for a softer, watery sensation profile.

While we strive to acquire stainless steel components suitable for jewelry, specifically for close skin contact, we are also aware of and appreciate individuals with nickel sensitivities. Therefore, alongside obtaining bulk materials from jewelry suppliers, we employ a nickel testing solution to conduct spot tests, ensuring safety for those who are most sensitive.   This is, however, not a promise of complete absence of allergens. If you have concerns, please reach out to us at info@TactileBloomWorks.com and we would be happy to provide you with a quote for surgical stainless steel.

  1. We're happy to make your end caps a different color than the main handle. Just ask! no extra charge.

  2. Translucent colors may show internal structure of the 3D printed parts, a.k.a. the "infill". Some customers like how this looks, others, not so much.

  3. We can acquire other colors and finishes of handle material and caps, even including glitter, 2 color coextrusions, Matte and Shiny (Silk). Increased price will be determined based on how popular that color may be and the cost per kilogram. Quote available on request.
